The Snowy Pistachio Cupcake was conceived on the wintery slopes of Falls Creek.
Our head pastry artisan was sitting inside by the fire, gazing out across the Victoria Highlands as motes of ice drifted down from the sky.
As he reached for another pistachio from the bowl by his chair, he paused, struck by the landscape’s surreal beauty.
And that’s how one of our most popular cupcakes was born: the Snowy Pistachio Cupcake, a pistachio sponge iced with white chocolate and cream cheese frosting … plus a dusting of icing sugar to symbolise those snowy mountains.
